Summer weekends by the lake, floating the river, backyard grill-outs, and boats are here! This normally brings some sort of excitement to our lives, however, some of us still get those twangs of anxiety about our bikini bodies. We sat down with Slim4Life and discovered a couple of tips to stay healthy during summer. With these in mind, you’ll be able to remain consistently healthy during the coming months!
1. Eat Summer Fruits
If you are one that likes to snack by the pool, make sure you ditch the chips and take summer fruits instead. Summer fruits are so refreshing on a hot day and can cool you down. We love grapes, watermelon, strawberries, and melons!
2. Drink Water and Lots of It
Summer is hot, especially in Texas, which is why it’s so important to drink lots and lots of water to keep hydrated. Carry a water bottle wherever you go so you are never out. Alcohol and the sun can be damaging to your health, and you won’t feel great!
3. If you have to drink beer, drink low-calorie types
Self-explanatory. If you have to drink beer, opt for a ‘healthier’ version with fewer calories.
4. Don’t Skip Breakfast
Skipping breakfast makes you tired, drowsy, and exhausted. Feed your brain with proper nutrients at breakfast time, especially if you are having long Summer days.
